Get your body moving. Take advantage of all the benefits of exercise; including stress reduction.
Keeping it simple improves the probability for success. A couple of ideas:
- Make it a family event, do it together: walk, gym, boot camp, family yoga
- Make it a personal escape: get away from the family (briefly) grab some “me time”
- Make if fun: Turkey trot, Santa hustle, Obstacle course (at your fitness level)
- Make it brief: try to do a little every day (10-30 minutes)
- Make it happen outside traditional workouts: park further away, take the stairs
